The BBC reported that Nokia intends to release Lifeblog, a journal composition software product that will run on its newer Series 60 mobile phones. Apparently, this software does not represent a complete moblogging solution– it simply allows people to collect and organize text messages, photos, video clips, and sounds. Lifeblog needs some sort of connectivity to a PC in order to get that information on to the Internet.
Christian Lindholm, the Director of Multimedia Applications at Nokia Ventures Organization, has detailed comments about the Lifeblog on his weblog. He was careful to say that his descriptions of the software are his own, and not official information from Nokia.
At this time, it is not clear on which mobile phones Lifeblog will work. It will be extremely interesting to see how Nokia enhances this product. [ via MobileTracker ]
