Dave Aiello, Editor

I founded Operation Gadget in November 2003. The majority of the 1,800 articles published here were written or co-authored by me.

I launched After6 Services LLC (A6) in 2011. A6 is a mobile app development and web publishing consulting firm. We develop large, complex websites that contain relational databases. A6 provides WordPress and Movable Type technical support and consulting services.

I graduated with a B.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I was on the men’s ice hockey team for four years and the lacrosse teams for one. I’m lucky to be married to Kathleen Kuykendall Aiello, MD, a board-certified pediatrician in practice at Southern Jersey Family Medical Center.

Our two sons are Jimmy and Peter. Jimmy is a Freshman at Drexel University, majoring in Music Industry with a concentration in Recording Arts and Music Production. Peter attends Council Rock North High School and plays for the Mercer Chiefs 16 and Under Minor AAA hockey team.

In my spare time, I officiate the sport of ice hockey. I’m a member of the men’s and women’s ice hockey officiating staff of the UCHC. The United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) is an NCAA Division III ice hockey league.

I belong to the National Ice Hockey Officials’ Association, and several officiating associations affiliated with the American Collegiate Hockey Association. I started out as part of the USA Hockey Officiating Program when I was in high school.
