Here’s a quick summary of the workouts that I did last week:
- Monday, May 2: Busy.
- Tuesday, May 3: Busy.
- Wednesday, May 4: 14.0 mile bike ride in 50 minutes.
- Thursday, May 5: 13.9 mile bike ride in 50 minutes.
- Friday, May 6: 5 kilometer run in 26 minutes 43 seconds in race conditions. See 26:43.3 in First 5k Running Race of the Year.
- Saturday, May 7: 14.0 mile bike ride in 53 minutes. Recovery day.
- Sunday, May 8: 26.1 mile bike ride in 1 hour 38 minutes. Bad head wind after 1 hour of riding slowed me down.
This was a pretty good week despite missing two days. I exercised for a total of 4 hours 39 minutes, burning 4,605 calories. I ran my first road race of the season in pretty lousy conditions and got back out there the next day and continued exercising.
