Here is a quick summary of the workouts I did last week:
- Monday, March 21: Biked 14.0 miles. First ride at this distance this season.
- Tuesday, March 22: Biked 14.3 miles (same course). Rode two minutes faster mainly due to less headwind.
- Wednesday, March 23: Officiated an exhibition hockey game between a Midget AAA team and a Midget AA team. Each of these teams is bound for their respective USA Hockey National Tournaments. A tune-up, not the hardest two-man system game I’ve done this season. The teams probably would have benefitted from having the game officiated by a three-man officiating crew.
- Saturday, March 26: Biked 25.7 miles, the East Windsor-Millstone Training Loop. First ride at this distance this season. Felt strong, but experienced some cramps in my calves when sprinting in the last half of the ride.
